Kandasamy Sah & Co, Kanchipuram for her wedding. The gorgeous blouses for both the outfits were the work of Nazia Syed. Makeup artists Ibrahim and Shabas brewed some magic for her big day.

The intricate mehendi designs were exquisitely done by Ayisha Nawaz and her team. Saranya picked her wedding jewelry from Saravana Stores Thanga Malligai, Chennai. The designs look pretty exquisite.

The couple color coordinated their outfits for their big day. The grooms blue outfit was from Mebaz, Hyderabad and the white outfit for the wedding was from Ramraj Silks, Rajahmundry. Saranya chose Atlhea – Wedding portraits and Films to capture the precious moments of her big day.

“Right from the picture composition, editing, album design and picture layout, there’s so much eloquence in their work. Vinoth and his team are so passionate in what they do, which added a special spark to our event” said Saranya.

Eddy, the groom of this love story feels that the power of the Universe cannot be explained in a few lines. Life is a gift and one should live it to the fullest with their partner.  This love story is for people who don’t believe that there’s something bigger than us which connects two totally different people.

Eddy met Karthini for the first time in October, 2012. He still distinctly remembers his first day of work, he was angry that he couldn’t find a parking spot when he was already running late for work. He was having a bad day, but only until he met her. Karthini was sitting at the Reception desk and explaining thing to everyone, with a big smile on her face. As dramatic as it sounds, Eddy couldn’t wait for an opportunity to talk to her. He tried to get her contact number, but Karthini was cautious to not mix her work and private life. Eddy didn’t give up and eventually their hearts connected too.

She was a simple girl from Chennai while Eddy was born and brought up in Versailles, Paris. Eddy believes that it was destiny that brought them together and four years later, he asked Karthini to marry her. He wanted to make their big day very special for Karthini and he organized their wedding with the help of his brother-in-law to take place at Karthini’s hometown.

Eddy says “getting married in India was a wonderful experience, but organizing a wedding in one month isn’t an easy job!”

Karthini looks beautiful in the bright yellow sari with a pretty cut-work blouse which was designed by her friend Shubha who got it ready in just ten days. Eddy looks stellar in a pattu veshti and a bright red shirt. The makeup for Karthini was done Makeup Artist Viji and the beautiful moments were captured by Sri Vatsan of Namma Photos.

We are in awe of the simple reception look of Karthini. Powder green lehenga, some simple jewelry and classy hairstyle, she looks on point. Eddy wore a sharp grey suit to complement his beautiful bride.

“10 days, 12 events – celebrated with crazy grandeur. We wouldn’t call it a wedding but a magnificent festival that saw friends and family come together to rejoice the feeling called love, pompously.

Beauty lies in the details and they took it to a whole new level with the amount of planning they invested in the décor. The preparation for the events began well in advance like 6-7 months ago, with the entire family putting their heart and soul into the concept design. The wedding stage alone was said to have taken a full month to take shape. With such meticulous efforts, the results are bound to be surreal. It was an out of the world experience that adorned all the events.

We have done so many big weddings, but this one just beat them all hands down, with the style they orchestrated, the panache they planned to perfection, and most importantly, the way they took care of each other and lived the true spirit of celebration. What can we say? It just was a royal carnival of love, truly.”

Wedding:

Mounika chose a rich golden silk saree with a red border for her muhurtham. The heavily embellished bright red blouse and ghoonghat added a touch of royalty to the already regal looking bride decked in layers of beautiful diamond jewellery. The mandapam décor was spectacular and extremely detailed.

Reception:

Mounika’s Sabyasachi velvet lehenga is majestic. She looked queenlike in the breathtaking maroon outfit embellished with stones and rich embroidery. The stunning broad neckpiece she adorned perfectly complemented her low-cut blouse. The theme and décor of the reception is pure royalty. Look at that shot with the palace guards, my oh my!

WOW is the word that comes to mind when you look at these awe-inspiring pictures from Koushik and Mounika’s wedding celebrations. There are so many magnificent captures taken over the course of 10 days that we absolutely need to split them into pre-wedding and on-the-day-of moments. Sangeet :

The sangeet was all glitz and glam in a stunning set up fit for an intimate royal gathering. Mounika looked pretty in an embellished navy gown with colourful embroidery at the bottom. The layered diamond necklace and danglers took the whole outfit up a notch.

Haldi :

Mounika wore a chic white crop top and a yellow skirt for the haldi. With the marigold décor in the natural setting, the place along with the bride-to-be looked like a little ball of sunshine.

Pellikuturu :

Mounika’s pellikuturu outfit is a stunner. The bluish violet banarasi lehenga is all kinds of beautiful. From the way it’s draped to the tassels in the skirt, to the jewellery she’s adorned, the entire ensemble looks regal on Mounika.

Engagement :

For the engagement, Mounika wore a gorgeous pink silk saree and heavy uncut diamond jewellery. The flower décor in the backdrop is magnificent to say the least.

Mehendi :

Post a casual mehendi, the bride and groom dressed up in colourful outfits for a fun dandiya night.
